Sometimes perfection just falls into your lap by chance.

This is one of those times. Sparkly Lady was a generous bonus sample for me from Rhinestone Housewife included in my order of several Arcana perfumes. Not only is it a color that is my total weakness (pink? gold? orange? ALL THREE? sign me up...) but it's also turned out to be the perfect gloss to tote around and apply in a momentary urge to make my lips twenty times more shiny than necessary.

Aaaand it's vegan!

I honestly have to resist the urge to apply a thick and super shiny layer, look at that color.

It applies nicely from the slanted-tip tube and is best when applied in a thin layer and massaged a little into the lips using the tube's applicator. The formula is a bit stickier than Shiro's but much less sticky than MAC's lipglasses or the incredibly thick and sticky Armour Beauty formula. It also has a very slight silicone-y slip to it that lends it a more cushiony feel. It's important to not apply it too thickly, because it will settle into cracks and get patchy if you try to apply more than your mouth can handle. The first time I over-applied and ended up with a ring of shimmery goodness on the inside of my lips. The second time I went for a much thinner coat and everything went much more smoothly, no patchiness or pooling at all.

It also wears incredibly well, this is a gloss that will still stick around a bit even after a few coffees. It's a perfect swiss army knife of a gloss that'll get you out of just about any naked lip emergency.

Also did I mention it's pretty? It's pretty.
